How to use
There is not much to set. An origin, a number of stopovers, a destination — that is all.
- 1
Check the origin
The first time you arrive, the browser asks for your location. Allow it and the nearest city becomes your origin; refuse and it carries on departing from Seoul. You can also press the departure button and change it to another city yourself.
- 2
Set the number of stopovers
Anywhere from 0 to 100. At 0 you go straight to the destination like a direct flight, and the higher the number, the more cities you call at along the way. Press and hold the button to climb quickly. More stopovers also means longer playback. For a close destination there are not enough cities on the way, so you get fewer than you asked for.
- 3
Search for a destination
Type a city name. Aliases work too — paris, Hawaii, nyc, Machu Picchu. Anywhere not on the list falls through to Google place search.
- 4
Control playback
You can pause and rewind. Drag the progress bar to jump straight to a point, and switch speed between 1×, 2×, 4×, 8× and 16×. Once it has finished you can watch it again from the start.
- 5
Share and keep
Press copy link and you get an address with the whole itinerary inside it. Nothing is stored on a server — the itinerary is in the address itself, so whoever opens it sees the same journey play. Journeys you watch to the end are kept automatically in this device's archive.
Common questions
- My archive is empty.
- A journey is only saved once it has played to the end. It is also not kept in private browsing, or if your browser blocks site storage.
- Can I see it on another device?
- No. There are no accounts, so journeys stay in the browser of the device that made them. Use copy link to move one to another device.
- I get fewer stopovers than I asked for.
- When the origin and destination are close there may not be enough cities to slot in between. In that case it uses however many there are.
